REFUND POLICY

All orders made at our online shop require full payment when you place your order.

For custom cake and sweet treat orders a 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The reasoning for this policy is that once your booking is secured there are costs that go into producing your product immediately. This includes admin, ingredients, ordering cake toppers or custom decorations. The deposit ensures these costs are covered and the business doesn’t lose out.

Once this deposit is received you will receive a receipt via email and your date will be secured.

All orders MUST be paid for in full before pickup/delivery unless discussed otherwise. The remainder of your payment can ONLY be paid 1-2 weeks prior to your event.

If your event changes and you no longer require your cake, notice MUST be given at least four days prior to your event to receive a refund (this only applies to part payments made, your deposit remains non-refundable)

If something happens such as illness or an emergency and your event can no longer go ahead please get in contact ASAP to discuss options.

Once the product has left the premise, Sweet Bee takes no responsibility for the irresponsible transport and/or storage of your product. Cake care instructions are included with every product so please refer to this information. This information can also be found on our website for reference before picking up your product.

If you are disappointed with the design of your product please advise of any issues at pickup as they may be able to be fixed on the spot. Once the product has left the premise it is considered “accepted”. Any issues regarding design will not be issued with a refund.

If the cakes flavour/texture is not satisfactory please keep the cake and return it to Sweet Bee within 48 hours of your event. If more than a third of the cake has been consumed no refund will be issued. Each case will be examined based on the adequacy of information given as to whether a partial refund or store credit will be issued.

In the case of large scale events such as pandemics or natural disasters which are beyond our control, deposits or any payments made towards an order will not be refunded but will be issued as store credits to be used at a later date.
